Darian Boyle is a World Champion athlete and an accomplished TV personality.
Darian was a pioneer in woman’s Freeskiing-Extreme skiing. She was one of the top female athletes in the world – dominating the skiercross circuit and helped to pave the way for the sport, which had its first debut in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her specialties include big mountain riding, skiercross, and bordercross. Some of her racing highlights include: 2000 World Extreme Sports Award for Best Female Freeskier in the World; 1999 Crowned World Skiercross Champion;1999 X Games placed 2nd in skiercross; 1998 US Open Skiercross Champion and 1993 finished 2nd overall on the World Pro Mogul Tour.
Darian switched gears in 2008 when she discovered Stand up Paddling. She has immersed herself in the SUP world traveling around the globe paddling, hosting paddle camps and surfing. She is a Yolo Board Elite Team Rider. Some of her Elite racing accomplishments includes a first place finish in the 2011 Florida State Championships (14’ Division) and second place in the 2011 O’Neill Sea Paddle NYC- 28 mile race around Manhattan.
Darian transitioned easily from her professional sports career into broadcasting. On camera, she is a frequent presence on several media channels as a Sports Reporter, TV host and radio broadcaster. She has appeared on several media outlets including ESPN, Fox Sports Network, ABC, Travel Channel and Outside Television. Her most resent project, produced in 2014, is a TV show called Saving Heroes, which aired on Discovery’s American Hero Channel.
Yet, Darian’s skills go beyond the slopes and TV. Throughout her career in sports, Darian has remained committed to a family business called Typhoon Boat Works, where she serves as President of the sport fishing operation. Headquartered in Florida, Typhoon Boat Works manufactures Custom fishing and cruising boats.

From mid-winter surfing off the coast of New Jersey, to skiing the untouched mountain peaks of Alaska, and skateboarding the chaotic streets of NYC, Darian has created a lifestyle out of her love for life’s challenges.
After all, you don’t just get a nickname like, “Digger”… you have to earn it. Maybe it’s the 50 bones she’s broken, or maybe it was her astounding comeback after breaking her neck in 6 spots and was still smiling. But, one thing is clear about Darian: whether it’s her attitude or her altitude; whether she’s in the starting gate or at the finish line, it’s her zest for life that drives her to compete with all she’s got.
